2024 Scholarship recipient.

Last week, I had the privilege of meeting Tyler Garland, the 2024 FRANK THE TANK (Cancer for College) scholarship recipient. Tyler, a childhood leukemia survivor, is now a sophomore at CSUF, juggling 18 units while studying Business. He’s an incredible person who’s overcome so much to get to where he is today. Congratulations, Tyler!

Since 2016, we’ve raised and awarded nearly $45,000 in scholarships for cancer survivors to attend Cal State Fullerton, all in memory of Frank Lozoya. So proud of how far we’ve come!

31st annual CLASSY GOLF CLASSIC!

Fun times at the 31st annual CLASSY GOLF CLASSIC benefiting Cancer for College , this past Friday. It’s one of my favorite days of the year because I get to celebrate my best friend/brother/4-time cancer survivor Frank Lozoya and all he accomplished. Thanks to those who have donated to the FRANK THE TANK scholarship fund through out the years. Since 2016, we’ve raised over $40,000 and have given out over $35,000 in scholarships to Cal State Fullerton, in Frank’s honor.

30th annual CLASSY GOLF CLASSIC Golf Tournament

Fun times at the 30th annual CLASSY GOLF CLASSIC benefiting Cancer for College. Truth be told, it’s a long and emotional day, but it’s such a great time getting to share Franks story and raise money at the same time. It’s one of my favorite days of the year. Thanks to those who have donated to the FRANK THE TANK scholarship fund. We’ve given out over $30k in scholarships to Cal State Fullerton and I appreciate all the support!

Here’s a video of hole 10 aka the FRANK THE TANK hole.

Go GRAY in MAY!

Did you know: Today, an estimated 700,000 people in the United States are living with a primary brain tumor, and over 79,000 more will be diagnosed in 2018. 80% tumors are benign and 20% tumors are malignant.

Miss ya pal!

2 years ago today!

2 Years ago, today, I lost the physical presence of my best friend/brother Frank Lozoya! I say “physical presence” because I know his soul is always with me, watching over me, helping me be a better person, and listening to my rants. I’m so grateful to have been apart of many of his life adventures. I witnessed him achieve miraculous goals, beat the odds, and smile at adversity! Couldn’t be more proud of all he accomplished in his short time on this planet! Miss you everyday pal!  -Scott

FRANK THE TANK scholarship!

Yesterday, I got the opportunity to call the (first ever) recipient of the FRANK THE TANK scholarship. It was an amazing feeling telling a leukemia survivor they received a $5k scholarship to CSUF! Thanks Frank Lozoya and also everyone who has donated throughout the years! Couldn't have done it without your support!

Go Gray in May!

May is Brain Cancer/Tumor awareness month! Even though Frank is no longer here, I'm so grateful that he survived 13 long years living with something that usually takes people much sooner!
