On Saturday, Frank and other Cancer for College scholarship recipients were recognized after the Dodger/Padres game. Will Ferrell was there to speak about raising over $1 million dollars for Cancer for College. After being recognized, Frank got to stay on the field and watch the premiere of Will's new HBO documentary. Photos/video below:
Frank had another MRI today at UCLA. It showed there was NO GROWTH in the tumor, which is good news! His next infusion is this Monday!
Yesterday, Frank attended a Cancer for College event in San Diego. He received a scholarship for CSUF from the organization (in 2011) and was there to celebrate the 2015 scholarship recipients.
Frank had a MRI today at Ucla. His doctor told him it looked "better." The tumor(s) haven't grown since his last MRI. So, it was good news! Next chemo infusion is this coming Monday!
Thank you Mary Cappelli (and Sawyer) for your support!

Just wanted to give a quick update on Frank! A couple of weeks ago, Frank started another chemo cycle. He'll receive chemo every four weeks and another medication every two weeks, for the next year. Luckily, it hasn't interfered with his weekly physical and occupational therapy sessions! So far, so good!

Today, Frank had a MRI and doctors appointment at UCLA. His MRI showed his tumors are still there and growing (slowly). The plan is for him to begin chemo this Monday.
MRI from today (on left) and from two weeks ago (on right).
Today, Frank went to Occupational Therapy at Hoag. He's working on getting that left hand moving!
Today, Frank celebrated with family and friends, at his sister's wedding. He had a great time!
Unfortunately it was BAD news today. A new tumor has grown in Frank's brain. But, his doctors have a PLAN! So, that's good. Hopefully, within the next few weeks, Frank will start another round of (new) chemo. He will also take another medication, which will hopefully prevent the cancer from spreading anywhere else. It's going to be another uphill battle, but if anyone can do it, it's FRANK the TANK!
Before the news!
Frank had a radiology follow up appointment today, at Hoag, and it went pretty well! He's slowly (but surely) recovering from all the radiation and chemotherapy he's undergone in the past several months! His next MRI is May 20th!
Today, Frank worked on strengthening his face muscles (with his friend Ashley).
Frank the Tank was being represented at Coachella this past weekend!
Frank had a MRI today, at UCLA, and it showed NO growth in his tumor. He'll begin his LAST chemo treatment next week! Overall, good news.
