Ten years ago today, I lost my best friend Frank.
Losing him to brain cancer shattered me, but honoring him has slowly pieced me back together in ways I never expected. Anyone who ever met him would tell you he was one of a kind - the kind of person you don't get twice in a lifetime. As of today, we've awarded $50,000 in college scholarships to survivors who carry the same strength he did. His life still makes mine better, and I miss him more than ever.
